Did you see this? See it.

Mission Accomplished

October 21, 2010

Concluding live testimonial successfully delivered. The event was captured for posterity in the form of a digital recording and still images. We suggest you listen to one while staring at the other.

Deal with this

October 19, 2010

This is it. The album is here and it is for you. Listen. You must do your best. Beats of Rage have done their work, and now it is up to you.

Click the above link to the GM4A album page and download the album. Hurry. There is no time. Or just stream it from below. There are many options open to you.

Beats of Rage are playing their final gig tonight. If you can somehow access Aberdeen, Scotland at 8pm 19/10/10, then we suggest you get to The Tunnels and take everything you are given. You will not be offered it again.

ENDGAME initiated

October 14, 2010

Beats of Rage have spent the last few months compiling and arranging noises spanning three decades of aggressive performance terror.

The work was not easy but the results are satisfying. Finally, a digital work has been produced that adequately summarises our activities and threats, and can be enjoyed on most circa-2010 audio devices. Please note, Quanta-3 content will not be accessable to the average listener until the proliferation of appropriate hardware in 2014.

Our album is due for release on October 19th through netlabel GM4A. The release of this album will mark the completion of the last of BOR’s objectives, leaving us no reason to linger in this particular timeline. To celebrate our accomplishment, and to give us one last opportunity to kill in public without fear of repurcussions, we will perform at Aberdeen’s ‘The Tunnels’ on the night of the 19th. This will be your last opportunity to have your dead heart bitcrushed, or your last opportunity to be the most pathetic of lazy idiots. We leave it to you.

Watch for our signal.

Repeat Attack

July 14, 2010

Beats of Rage are hitting Aberdeen’s Drummonds again on Thursday 22nd July. This time we’ll be teaming up with Metaltech (direct from Edinburgh) and, making her live debut, local chip artist Bit Face. It’s going to be pretty intense.

In case you want a reminder of just how real shit is about to get (or if you weren’t there and are having trouble imagining it), check out this live video from our last Drummonds gig:

BOR on Parade

June 9, 2010

Beats of Rage commence their mini-tour of Scotland this Friday. Co-conspirators Dead on the Live Wire, Bomb Berlin and Comptroller will not be holding back, so you’d better be ready. I am warning you.

We play Glasgow’s 13th Note on Friday 11th June, Edinburgh’s Henry’s Cellar Bar on Saturday 12th June and Aberdeen’s Drummonds on Sunday 13th June. WRITE IT DOWN.

UTG to the Edge of Panic

February 27, 2010

WEHEARTUTG, a compilation album featuring tracks by Aberdeen acts in opposition to the proposed conversion of Union Terrace Gardens into a concrete wasteland, has been released today. It features a specially written & recorded BOR track called ‘UTG to the Edge of Panic’.
Go listen and download. All proceeds go towards the IHEARTUTG campaign.

In further news, BOR have almost finished booking a mini-tour for June. Dates:

Friday 11th June – 13th Note, Glasgow
Saturday 12th June – Maggie’s Chamber, Edinburgh
Sunday 13th June – TBA, Aberdeen

Joining us will be Edinburgh’s Dead on the Live Wire and, at least for the Aberdeen & Glasgow dates, Edinburgh/Glasgow/Aberdeen punks Bomb Berlin. We are excited about the whole thing.

We should also have an Aberdeen date sorted for April fairly soon, plus the album is on its way. These are busy times.
